Yes, that is a piss-take of the highest order.

Alot of decent stuff on amazon make you buy starz player to watch them.
Wanted to watch gomorrah but swerved it because of this. Already paid for prime

We get Prime from my wife's account but other than that Kodi is our friend.

Netflix is £6 a month. Hardly a game changer.

Re: Netfix or Amazon Prime
Have neither
Several people were going on about Netflix but when I looked at their schedule there wasn't anywhere near enough that I wanted to pay to watch .... maybe The Crown & the Michael Jordan thing
Haven't heard as much about Amazon Prime apart from the documentary about the Aust Test team which I will get to eventually.
Amazon Prime have the rights to the two sets of Premier League games on 15/16 & 28 December but I guess people will find other ways of watching or take up a 30 day trial

I guess thats the answer , take the 30 day trials in December.
AND REMEMBER TO CANCEL

I only pay £3 for 4K Netflix via sharing, but I wouldn't pay full price for what's on offer. It's still better than Prime though.

Apple TV?

I imagine it will spend 20 years complaining incessantly about the anti-competitive nature of the other two, then finally get a couple of hot shows which it will scramble in some way so that you can only play them on their own hardware.

Anyone tried Apple TV and how does it compare to the other two?

Both appear to have taken over peoples lives. Avoid

Re: Netfix or Amazon Prime
I have both

Amazon is better for obscure stuff

Netflix panders to the masses

Re: Netfix or Amazon Prime
A good 90% of the stuff on Netflix is crap I’d never watch. I spent more time scrolling through it looking for stuff that might interest me than actually watching anything. Doesn’t take long to watch the remaining 10% and there wasn’t enough new stuff coming on there that I wanted to watch.

Binned.

Amazon will do the first season of a box set cheap to draw you in then will want to dry bum you to watch the rest.

I’d go porn hub. At least it’s other people getting bummed and not you.

Pornhub that reminds me *unzips

Re: Netfix or Amazon Prime
Netflix has become really bad. They have a number of boxes that have to be ticked for everything they make. It is mind-numbing drivel, which I guess is the point of ‘Netflix and chill’

Amazon Prime has Seinfeld and better films but their original content isn’t much better.

I think if you compiled a list of the best original things made by Netflix, Prime and HBO, HBO would comfortably take the top ten slots.
